Saint James the Great

East Malling

Parish Church in the benefice of East Malling, Wateringbury and Teston in the Diocese of Rochester

Access arrangements

Wheelchair access to the church is via the main West Door and is all on one level. The cobbled approach to the church from Church Walk can be rough but a flat rubber matted surface is laid prior to main services to make this access more comfortable. Inside the church you will be welcomed and seating will be arranged to your preference - we do not have pews and the chairs can be arranged accordingly.

The church is fitted with an induction loop for the benefit of users of hearing aids. You are invited to switch to the T position on your hearing aid. In addition, on the 3rd Sunday of every month the Eucharist is a signed service (BSL) including hymns and the sermon. See services for details.

Large print versions of services and hymn books are available for those who have a visual impairment.
